Terms of Sale and Use

Version 2026-10-31 · Effective October 31, 2026 · Changed: the website name is now FastAutoParts.ca (no other changes)

Plain-language summary: we sell used and new auto parts to customers in Canada. Before we charge you, we confirm the part, the fit (with your VIN when you give it), the shipping cost and the total. Your rights under Canadian and provincial consumer law always apply, and nothing in these terms takes them away.

1. Who we are

FastAutoParts.ca is operated by 1001291506 Ontario Inc. ("we", "us"), 76 Sherry Road, Unit H, Scarborough, Ontario M1L 2J9, Canada. Phone and text: 647-702-8019. These terms apply to your use of the website and to every order you place with us. The Privacy Policy and the Shipping, Returns and Warranty policy are part of these terms.

2. Accepting these terms; changes

You accept these terms by ticking the box when you create an account or place an order. We keep a record of the version you accepted and when. We may update these terms; the version and date at the top will change. A change never applies to an order you already placed. If we make a material change, we will ask account holders to accept the new version before their next order.

3. Accounts

An account is optional; you can always check out as a guest. If you create one, give accurate details, keep your password private, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You must be at least the age of majority in your province to place an order. You can ask us to close your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy for what we must keep).

4. The parts we sell

Used OEM parts

Most of our parts are used original-equipment parts removed from vehicles. Unless a listing says otherwise, the photos show the actual part you will receive. Used parts show normal wear, marks and age. Mileage and service history are usually unknown unless the listing states them. We describe each part honestly; if a part is not as described, you are entitled to a remedy (see the Shipping, Returns and Warranty policy).

New parts

Some parts are new and come from manufacturers or distributors. Their own manufacturer warranty may apply in addition to ours.

Mistakes

We work to keep descriptions, stock and prices correct, but errors happen. If we find an error in a listing after you order, we will tell you before charging you, and you may cancel for a full refund of anything you paid.

5. Fitment

Fitment information on the site (vehicle lists, "Fits your vehicle" badges, chassis codes) comes from manufacturer data, public vehicle databases and our own checks. It is guidance, not a guarantee, because options, trim, production dates and previous repairs change what fits. Please give us your VIN at checkout. When you do, we check fitment before we confirm your order. If we confirm that a part fits your VIN and it does not, that is our error and the return is free. We use your VIN only to check fitment and to source the right part.

Modules and electronics (for example CAS, FRM, DME/ECU, airbag control units, key-related parts) often need coding, programming or adaptation to your vehicle. That work is not included unless your order confirmation says so, and some modules can only be programmed by a dealer or specialist.

6. Orders, prices and confirmation

7. Payment

Card payments are processed by a third-party payment processor; we do not see or store your full card number. We also accept Interac e-Transfer and payment at pickup. If something is wrong with a charge, please contact us first so we can fix it quickly. You keep every right consumer protection law gives you, including the right to ask your card issuer to reverse a charge.

8. Taxes

We charge the GST/HST (and, where it applies, provincial sales tax) for the province the order ships to, or Ontario HST for shop pickup.

9. Shipping, title and risk

We ship within Canada only. Shipping costs, delivery estimates and freight items are explained in the Shipping, Returns and Warranty policy. Ownership passes to you when you have paid in full. The risk of loss stays with us until the part is delivered to you (or picked up).

10. Core charges

Some parts carry a refundable core charge. If so, it is shown on your order confirmation. We refund it when we receive your old part in rebuildable condition within the time stated on the confirmation.

11. Installation and safety

Auto parts can affect the safety of a vehicle. We strongly recommend installation by a qualified technician, and parts of the airbag/SRS, braking, steering and fuel systems should only be installed by a qualified technician. Follow the vehicle manufacturer's procedures. Do not install a part that looks damaged; contact us instead.

12. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits any right or remedy you have under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, the Sale of Goods Act, the consumer protection laws of your province (including Quebec), or any other law that cannot be limited by contract.

Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows:

These limits do not apply to death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or to our fraud or wilful misconduct.

13. Third-party service providers

To run the store and deliver your order we use other companies: shipping carriers and freight brokers, payment processors, email and text-message providers, website hosting, and (with your permission) marketing email. The Privacy Policy lists them and explains exactly what information each one receives and why. These providers run their own systems under their own terms and privacy policies. We choose them carefully, give them only the information they need, and require them by contract to protect it and use it only for the service they provide to us.

We are responsible for personal information we transfer to a provider for processing, as Canadian privacy law requires. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for services you choose to use directly with a third party (for example your own account with a carrier or a payment provider), or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control. If a privacy breach that affects you happens at one of our providers, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires and help you take steps to protect yourself. See the Privacy Policy for details.

14. Using the website

15. Your cancellation rights

If we fail to give you the information consumer protection law requires before you enter into an internet agreement, or fail to give you a copy of the agreement, you may have the right to cancel it within the time the law allows and receive a refund within 15 days. If a part is not delivered within 30 days of the delivery date we confirmed (or of the order, if no date was given), you may cancel at any time before you receive it. These rights are in addition to our returns policy.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. If you are a consumer living in another province, you also keep the protection of the consumer laws of your province. We will try to resolve any problem directly with you first: call or text 647-702-8019 or write to us at the address above. Nothing in these terms requires you to use arbitration or stops you from going to court or joining a class action where the law gives you that right.
